This song is about learning from the past, whether it’s been from good or bad experiences. The new music video shows how aversive past events can lead us through a tumultuous wave of emotions, such as regret, shame, and even self-destruction. It can be really tough to work oneself up from experiences like that.
It’s so important to turn away from that.
Using what keeps you down to make a better future is how we navigate through our problems so we an survive. Finding what make you stronger, using what lights that flame that make you want more is second to none.
The new rap video was made with help by The Shape Agency. The Shape Agency was super dope and made this rap video literally fire. Huge thank you to Lauren Bruno who helped put this while thing together to make it the best rap video of the year. Not only were they great to work with but their creative power really helped tie this whole production together.
